When I said "my comment was obviously not directed at you" to @vanus I was saying the negative generalization about our fan base which I had just made was not directed at them. I was clarifying that I hadn't just insulted them. As opposed to @YourSweet666- who intended to shut down my attempt at engaging him in conversation.
