Is AHS Becoming Too PC?

Does anyone think AHS is becoming too PC and do you think it will affect viewership?

I was watching some reactions and I watched this reaction where this guy said that Lee was making certain situations about race.

Also at 2:27 they discuss the cops. What are your opinions on the police and do you think they did everything they could to help?

I understand that it's one opinion but the internet is starting to become anti-PC and some might get annoyed if race or other issues are constantly being "pushed" in their face.

I feel like in the setting that AHS:R is set in, the south, it would make sense for an interracial couple to feel threatened. I don't see a problem with the reactions and I find it to be very realistic.

What are your thoughts?

As a non-American/non-native English speaker, can I ask what PC means besides Personal Computer? :laughga:

LMAO I thought he was asking if we thought the show had turned into an only-online show or something :toofunny:

ESPECIALLY in the South, an interracial couple will deal with prejudice. Come to Atlanta where I am, and you'll be good-- but drive an hour in any direction and you'll have that old South creeping in.

Wtf does that even mean. Because the cops were assholes it means its politically correct? They just used that horror trope...

I literally find 0 things 'too pc' about AHS, its actually triggering for some people that have experienced racist attacks.

Um what. Thats just realistic. Especially because of the location and the characters being an interracial couple.

Have you seen season 3? AHS has tackled racism before

AHS (in the same way Law & Order does) utilizes their show to address current issues in society.
A portion of Hotel was about vaccinating kids which at the time was a major debate swirling around the US. What they are doing is tying in things that people see as problematic and educating the people without throwing it in their face. You are learning something without even really knowing that you are being taught.

I felt the same as many of you. I feel like everything was very realistic to the setting the characters. I found it funny because I didn't even think about race until I saw this. When RL-Lee was talking about how he was worried about the rednecks because they were in the south and an interracial couple, I agreed completely with him because those are issues that people in interracial relationships deal with constantly.

I also don't recall Lee sister bringing up race at all. Can some jog my memory?
