What if the tour is not themed 'Joanne'?

Something to think about... We are assuming that the upcoming tour will be themed around the 'Joanne' album... but what if she breaks tradition and does a tour that is thematically separate from the album? Of course she will be singing many 'Joanne' tracks, but that doesn't mean the tour will be a replica of the album.

She has enough old hits that are "must perform" songs that she cannot do a 100% 'Joanne' tour without risking upsetting folks. And she will likely be working in a jazz set as well.

I could see the tour being completely thematically separate from the album 'Joanne' but just including the essential tracks from it. That way it can still be a "ball" :hor:

Not saying I believe this "will" happen (I totally think we're getting a 'Joanne' themed tour)... but just something to consider!

:duck: Just expect something classy, edgy and new. Not too avant garde, or centered on one route, as the album itself is non-conceptual. For all we know, she might only perform the songs at clubs, and such. Don't forget Global Citizen Festival (in which she has been assumed to perform at, for a while now) is coming on the 24th.
