Billboard reported that Gaga is likely to sell 100,000 units of Perfect Illusion in its first week for a debut in the Top 20 of the Hot 100. How many streams on Spotify and YouTube = 1 single sale? I thought it was recently upped to 150 streams...but I assume that would put Perfect Illusion over the 100K mark. Perfect Illusion has 13 million YouTube views and 11 million Spotify streams. While I know some were before this weeks charting period, it still seems like that'd be a lot of sales. Am I wrong in the math? Is it not 150 streams = 1 single? Thanks <3. They don't convert streams to sales for single chart but rather into points then they add everything including radio points. They have their own formula for that which we don't know yet. They'll report it as "perfect illusion garnered __ million streams" they will not add it to her sales despite the fact that there is a conversion factor.
