I love perfect illusion, but I'm by no means impressed by the album title, cover, or any of the track titles thus far. I really don't know what to expect.

Don't let the track titles form a judgement of the song, since Gaga is really not good at them :cryga: Born This Way's tracklist is tragic but the music is great

One of the all-time greatest episodes in television history... Sometimes I almost wish the move to UPN never happened and they ended the series right there. (but then we would've missed out on some classic stuff from S6 & S7, so I'm good with it!)

I've always gone back and forth wondering if the last two seasons should've happened. But you're right, there's a lot of stuff we would've missed ('Once More With Feeling', for a start). I was still satisfied with 'Chosen' as an ending, though. The part where they all become slayers is i.c.o.n.i.q.u.e.

Wow, really off topic. :laughga:

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

I f-ing LOVE this cover. I love that it is minimalistic and simple, after so many years of more complex album covers (not that I don't love them, but this is definitely the best one so far).

I know ... and it's not like this is an "obscure" song either... "Fight Song" was an even bigger anthem for the DNC than "Rise"!! :excited2:

SO stupid though, like, did Rachel Platten invent hats and side poses?!

Am I the only one who thinks the Joanne* titles are actually really good? John Wayne, Sinner's Prayer, Perfect Illusion, Joanne... all iconic titles. Ayo and Hey Girl are a bit strange/basic but they're still interesting.

Hey, at least it's not as tragic as a Britney tracklist.

*It feels so weird calling LG5 by its actual name. :laughga:

I think it suits Gaga perfectly. You can just imagine him in a smoky, dank bar with a cigar and a scotch. He seems just like the kind of guys Gaga used to date (hence why she named the song after him).

I guess maybe you're right.  I was just expecting something a little more iconic as an album cover and title.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was it stated in some recent interview that the album will be pop? I think the person being interviewed (i think it was blood pop) said something about pop in a heartbeat or something like that? :flop:

I wonder what this Joanne song will sound like.  If Paradise was supposedly a jazz song, I wonder how much of it changed in sound.

RedOne and Bloodpop are involved in the album, so there will definitely be some electro-pop influence in there somewhere, both of them don't really have any other genres they specialise in, so you shouldn't have too much to worry about.

I think to enjoy the era the best its to forget the image of the old Gaga and let musicianga take over for at least one era, I'm excited to see what she's capable of when she's not trying to produce hits

Simple, yet beautiful... chanels what she wants to say through her music this time, something more natural, more organic!!!! It was about time for this whole new direction!!!
