He couldn't stop bringing Britney in every single interview and when he didn't bring her up he answered to every question about her making her look like a joke. Justin wasn't more bold, he was just more smart business wise. I mean is he even smarter business wise than ZAYN? Most of his popularity grew because of how much people loved him in NSYNC, on top of the fact that his songs were catchy. ZAYN can still do the same, albeit quieter because he is.
