It's a great song, but I've never heard it on the radio or anyone talking about it. The GP still doesn't know it exists, I hope it'll be a hit in the future though

her music isn't front-loaded

Unfortunately she and her team have put her in a position where she's at the mercy of others. She has to rely on other people helping her out: her label, radio, collaborators, etc. I don't think this is about the song although I personally don't care for it. It's about her. I don't think she's got people requesting it and if radio is looking for feedback on the song and they aren't getting any response, than what incentive do they have to play it and continue to support it? If radio doesn't support it then how is it going to grow? She doesn't have a stan base who are looking to do whatever they can to help her out and spread her music. You have to look at the bigger picture.

I will say I think it's a bad 1st single and it hasn't connected with me at all. It's not the quality I expected from her. I sort of wonder if she hit a wall creatively and sort of peaked. When I find the story behind the song more interesting than the song itself there's a problem. Idk, it feels like she's musically going the same route Ellie went only at a much faster rate where she's lost that thing that she had in the beginning that drew people to her in the 1st place.

The song is amazing, but that music video didn't help. She looked really very bad in it, she NEEDS to change her hairstyle.

radios don't really care for these request, moreover it is starting to grow on radio, she never had instant smash, so idk why are people already writing this of

Its so bland and nothing imo. Habits smashed because it was infectious, had catchy and provocative lyrics, and didn't necessarily sound like everything else on the radio. To me Cool Girl has literally none of those qualities or even the qualities that make a shallow pop song a hit. Its annoying and its boring, bad combination.
