It failed to enter top 10 to any music markets, not even in Sweden. Streams numbers are very underwhelming too despite being exposed in Spotify's biggest playlist (with 10.5M followers). Why is that? I think it's just different than her previously released stuff. It doesn't really have a catchy chorus to me. Still way excited for the whole album! I was talking with someone about why her TV performances weren't having an impact on her single and I said back then that she was having issues and that if those issues weren't addressed by her and her team that she would continue to struggle. It will either smash a lot later like Lush Life and Cheap Thrills or won't smash at all. The song is a bit underwhelming though, even if I'm a fan of hers. People always say that but she's only had 2 solo hits and while Talking Body was released in Jan she didn't start to promote it until April due to her vocal surgery. Her 1st TV performance in the US wasn't until May. And didn't it spend a decent amount of time discounted just to keep it afloat while she was out of commission and even after? Context is important.
