How and why did the ARTPOP era split the fanbase apart?

I though general decay was implied?

However, it depends, as some people do not hit their peaks until later in their career. Gaga may have reached her peak, but she is currently on a plateau of interest.

Plus I think Gaga will always manage to have a fanbase of somewhat astounding size.

I agree.

I agree.

There is also the continuing argument of which of Gaga's albums is her best. BTW and FM are the main contenders, but arguements could be made for all her albums.

Gaga keeps up her quality even if people argue against it.

The BTW era already alienated the fanbase and the GP, and ARTPOP was a final nail in the coffin (to some). Fact is, Gaga doesn't really care about commercial success during AP and the fans shouldn't bother as well.

I feel like this thread would be the perfect opportunity to tell stories of how the ARTPOP track nation attacked, while sitting comfortably in a rocking chair by a lit fireplace while I'm crocheting. :whitney:

Yes, I also do love partying in moving houses as seen in that one Bacardi tv ad.
