The reason why Gaga's voice works in PI

So, yes. I did watch the Perez Hilton video. One of his complaints was her voice. I'm sure people have mentioned how it's quite a loud song and they don't like it. Well, the song is full of confusion. It's full of anger and sadness and pain. Using bad romance vocals or Alejandro vocals wouldn't convey the emotion she wanted to portray in this song. It just wouldn't work. The song is perfect. It's her strongest lead single since Bad Romance. Good job, Gaga. I'm proud of you.

I love the contrast of her strong angry voice, and her "soft" backing vocals during the bridge.

MAN

I LOVE IT!

I love this song

I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.

I prefer Applause, but the vocals are amazing. And the fact that they are completely plain without autotune is wow, and yes, it goes great with the song.

This unknown stranger made a video saying bad things about the best song of the year? Oh.

Cheap shade aside, the only thing that bothers me about the fact that she used her real voice is that the live version won't sound as superior, but I don't actually care. It's such an amazing song, recorded in a perfect [illusionary] way. I cried when I listened to it for the first time. Not sure if it was because it was so great or because Gaga was singing in a very angry way directly in my ears, but it did make me feel deep emotions.

I'm thoroughly surprised the song has no auto tune. That's another reason why I love it. Gaga doesn't need it. ❤️

Rocket Number 9

Her voice is raw and fierce, and it doesn't look like it was altered much. She's a vocal powerhouse that's for sure.
