Honestly, the lyrics remind me a lot of AHS and The Countesses various relationships through out the show. Maybe she is taking inspiration from the fictional characters she is playing now as well. Being blinded by love, or your feelings about someone or something, or the rush they give you, being too blind to see the truth cuz you're addicted to the feelings. Like being high on drugs, you're not aware of what you're doing but you're caught up in whatever the drugs do for you, how they make you feel, you're too blind to see they are lethal/toxic.
