I'm not saying this to you in particular but to everyone who says this is absolutely not rock :

It's a lot more rock than most of her songs (yes there were some rock influenced songs on Born this Way, ARTPOP etc). And I like the fact that she doesn't stick to one genre and doesn't just do an all-rock song. One of the things I like in Gaga is that she always mixes the genres, in every song she makes. So I appreciate this song for its rock influences but also the pop and electro side.

I always have this when I first hear her new music. It grows on me. Especially Born this way. I love Gaga live most of all and I can't wait to hear this live, bet it will sound amazing!

I have been a gaga Stan since just dance. I've supported all of her albums, brought every single single AND albums on top of that. I love her artistry 

I even loved ARTPOP.

I can say I do not like Perfect Illusion.

It has the bones to be a great song, but it's gone so wrong.

Like 4 basic lyric lines that lead into a half strung together chorus, the feeling of the bridge after the second chorus feels so disconfigured because I feel like it should be longer, it got to that bridge to fast. 

And then suddenly we just have this constant repetition of how it was a perfect illusion. 

The hype was so good for something so mediocre. 

This won't last long in the charts 

It's very forgettable and will get very annoying very fast

I am beyond underwhelmed and I've listened to it on repeat for some time now. Just hasn't grown on me.
