Where are you getting that? The song made things sound far worse than I had thought. Although it most likely is fictional for the most part. And there are bits from Kevin in there as well. I think the fact that the song is so straightforward, in your face and easy to understand (as opposed to being vague like most of her songs) makes it hard to interpret into something else. Which is great though, that makes it really gp friendly (and they sure eat up love/heartbreak songs). Most of her songs have lines where one makes sense and you get what she's talking about but the next line throws you off completely. That's not the case with PI, it sounds like a breakup song inside out. Just an observation. I absolutely LOVE the chorus and verses! It's amazing how she reinvented her music sonically, it doesn't sound like anything she's done before tbh. Sometimes it's a bit too 80s for me but I'm over it. And it's such a good song to sing to! I can't wait to scream it out loud!
