This will be the largest Meltdown of all time

There are two types of fans now , those who didn't like and who are pretending to like

:toofunny: speak for yourself, babe. I ****ing love it, personally. A blend of rock/pop/disco is EXACTLY what I was hoping for, I'm overjoyed

First thoughts after 5 listens:

- definitely a grower

- like it

-1st half perfect, builds up nicely but mess at end

-vocals on point tho

-not feeling producers impact... where is Tame Impala psycho sound?

-during listening I would love to hear actual part of only music.,.give me 10 secs at least why it has to be vocal loaded?

Holy ****, we're not in the 80's..? I had no idea.

Perfect Illusion literally sounds like it could've been a filler song on BTW, so don't try it with "new" and "reinventive" just because the current music climate is stuck in 90's house hell.

LMAO that last description

This has to be a joke? It almost seems satire. As much of a musical genius as she is, she wanted THAT as her lead single? Beyond dissapointed with this.

Her voice is overwhelmingly huge in this. It's the only aspect I like of this song. The mix of Disco/rock is so weird. There should have been background vocals is the chorus. the structure is cheap. The build up is so dissapointing. It is way too repetitive. She is basically screaming the same thing over and over again at the end of the song. The song is so short, and literally doesn't have much to say. Who helped her with this? The same guy who made "uptown funk?" What happened?

This is such a mess, and I am the fan that always takes up for her, when everyone else says she is over. Such a let down. She can do much better. What Happened to the Gaga of Bad Romance and Alejandro? This is why fans fade.

For those saying it is repetitive, I agree but remember how many times she says Judas and Marry the Night in their respective songs.

I just love all the “music producers” and “experts” we have here on GGD… That sit behind a computer at their parents’ houses, stuffing their faces with KFC, never amounting to anything with their lives. Like you could ever compose a song that is meant to appeal to multiple sexes, nationalities, religions, languages and personalities even on the best, most successful day of your life.

It’s music. It’s art. Like it or don’t. That’s fine. But I am so tired of this forum S***ING on every exciting moment we have as Lady Gaga fans. It’s exhausting, predictable and just plain stupid.

Fans don’t fade. They appreciate whatever direction their artists go. And support them, even if they didn’t do it the exact way you wanted them to.

She will NEVER write Bad Romance or Poker Face again. They’ve been done. Move on. Because she has.

And so have I.

Peace out.

In the beginning I felt like hearing Miley Cyrus sing those oh-oh-Ooohs. Anyone? :flop:

Before there was love, there was silence

Because they aren't digging one song straight away? :toofunny:

OK, I bought it in AMAZON MUSIC, GOOGLE PLAY, and ITUNES!!!

I LOVE IT. Will be playing it non stop and streaming it. I wasn't expecting anything so when i heard it, I liked it! Now I am playing it nonstop!
I cannot wait to hear her play this on a piano. Her piano versions are ALWAYS my favorite compared to the actual single.
