Song first-

Pros-

You get to use your own imagination to what it means on a personal level.

You aren't distracted by the visuals.

Cons-

The visuals may tie in the song better.

The visuals might have great meaning to the lyrics.

What would you do?  O_O

Video, listening the song for the first time with its video is a heavenly experience.

Listen first. A first time radio play will always have that extra charm and hype.

Video first. It's what I originally wanted to do with Applause before the leak/rushed release. As Gaga said, her music is very visual and I think I would love the full experience with song&vid at once. It'd be true MODERN ECSTASY.

The song. I want to get to know her, become good friends with her, hear her story. Then I'll watch the video and see how she fits.

Song first.

I can't concentrate otherwise, and sometimes Gaga's visuals have nothing to do with what I interpret the song to look like. :saladga:

Both, you open the video in your computer and leave the song playing on Spotify on your phone :poot:

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

What, Telephone didn't remind you of prison, Wonder bread, and caution tape?

Been a long time but I'm back in town, and this time I'm not leaving without you
