Not to mention Nicola was asian and her dancers/band/etc are all different backgrounds. Her collaborations and team have always been intensely diverse. She just likes to do a more urban thing for a change sometimes, because she can make pop music herself, and ends up with black artists because most urban/rap/hip hop artists are black.
