Geography is part of every elementary school social studies book and then in two years of history in junior high. There is no way eight years of teachers skipped the geography part of history. It's next to impossible to do anyhow, as geography is integrated throughout social studies and history books.

Are you in my school or in the same state as me? No. I'm literally taking American History right now, and only certain states take a full geography course. I'm in high school, i would know.

Every elementary school across the nation has social studies books that include geography. Every junior high is going to have geography integrated in their history books. There doesn't have to be a full year of geography, it is integrated throughout history courses.

What state do you go to school in and do you go to a public high school?

I mean i live in the tri-state area, and we don't have a huge basis in geography. I have a test on state locations and capitols this coming week, and thats the most specific thing we've done. I get a public school education.

I take the courses so i would know, up to this point. Maybe elementary school changed since i was there 7/8 years ago?

Connecticut?

All states in the tri-state area have Georgraphy standards that are required at the elementary and junior high levels in public education. Multiple teachers did not ignore these standards. Those standards have been in place for five to ten years at least. You would have hit these standards in at least late elementary school to junior high.

Since you apparently missed all of this instruction, you should get yourself a good map and start following some current events in the world to try and catch up a bit on all that you missed!

I haven't been taught much of any form of geography besides a simple, mark 6 of these Europe countries on a map. I have studied a majority of Africa and Asia, but that was when i was in Florida for a year. Being in New Jersey, we have high public school education but Geography hasn't been highlighted. I can tell you this first hand, based off of my experience. I only missed one year of schooling in the northeast.

When is she expected to land?

Sorry. :)

To bring this back to Gaga...At the very least, a fan could have followed past promo and tour stops to learn a little about the world. Gaga can be their geography teacher! Lol ;)

First stop, Berlin! Where to next?!

I quote Lady Gaga when she made a comment in 2014 while she was fed up with pop and it's inauthenticity:

"If you’re not gonna write your own music, you better be able to blow. Because if you can’t blow, there’s no reason to do the job. You think about artists that can’t really sing, that have songs written for them, and it’s like, well why are they artists? Why are companies paying money to promote them? Because they’re beautiful and look good on camera and are kinda-sorta singing along? It’s like karaoke for pretty girls. When you’re a singer-songwriter it doesn’t really matter if you’re beautiful. What matters is that you create a relationship with your fans, and they care what you have to say.”
