RockGa Aesthetic Appreciation

Anybody else living for her new aesthetic? I think it fits her well and it supports her "chameleon" title, reinventing herself every few albums/eras, if not every era.

This also seems smart because the GP will not be turned off by too much outlandish outfits and so they will focus on the music more. I love her avant garde fashion but this is the perfect way of shaking things up. I'm sure she will still put a spin on things--I mean she walked up on stage like the old Gaga during the Tame Impala concert.

How about you?

I'm very excited about her creating Rock music, particularly with Ronson, but I can't say I'm enjoying the way she is presenting the music - with fashion and images. It feels like she is adopting and playing up already existing Rock cliches rather than creating something new.

At first I wasn't that big of a fan of the looks she has been giving.. But now, seeing it on the cover, it feels fresh and kind of freeing. Kind of like.. "Whatever, I'm about to release some kickass music that I love very much." I'm getting that vibe.

Can't wait to see how it turns out, at least it's shaping up great.

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

I feel a CONNECTION with this look. Like I feel her soul or something. With ARTPOP aesthetic (which I did love) I often felt alienated from her. But here I feel something, like a different type of excitement and energy that I haven't felt since Born This Way. :D

Because this time she learned not to overhype things and let the music speak.

Fashion and imagery has always been a part of her even with--no--especially with avant-garde.

Besides, even if it's routine, her career hasn't quite been this rock-ish before so it's still a good form change. She can't discover a new element or come up with a new mathematical theorem every era unfortunately.

Why does everyone keep saying she's doing rock? Wasn't it confirmed that Perfect Illusion is a dance floor anthem?

Dance floor anthem doesn't equal EDM or Pop. Anything you can dance to can become a dance floor anthem.

Oh and I am living for the aesthetic but I'm really worried that I'm getting too hyped and I'm going to end up disappointed
