you guys need to realize, this is 2016, the age of instagram celebs, festivals, and nonchalance. its not the thing anymore to be gaudy and campy and overdone. we're moving more and more towards minimalism, and irony. I'm glad gaga is kind of catching up and making more contemporary work, or so it seems. she can still be creative, and also, who says this isn't creative? just because its not outwardly artifice and ethereal. think back to her looks during her SXSW visit. with the 'dope' grills, and the rave outfit. that's more modern, natural, grungy, yet fun and colorful.

I love it.

It's so natural and understated. So anti-ARTPOP.

Gaga always knows exactly how to offend her critics.

It's like she's reminding us that even without the all the visible art, she will always be crazy, always be Gaga. Except now she's crazy on the inside.

Everyone judged her for her appearances but it was all just a perfect illusion. Because deep down its what's inside that counts.

You often contribute the gaga-contrarians opinion. I can handle opposition. I wasn't blind to your point of view either. I get it. I just don't understand why you can rarely seem to just simply enjoy her as opposed to needing to put a cynical emphasis on how disingenuous you found her. Your point of view, imo, is often what I consider a general reflection of a certain popular brand of cynicism surrounding her continued existence in pop culture. I don't disagree with it entirely, but I also don't see its purpose anymore. I feel like 6 years ago there was weight to these sorts of dissections of her contrived nature or possibly disingenuous creative moves, but I just dont see how this continues to be an issue for certain people at this point when you could have just dropped off years ago. Gaga has never not been contrived, double negative. So what now?

While I'm flattered that you keep such a close eye on my posts, and glad that you agree with the opinions I shared in this thread, I am not interested in engaging you in conversation about the way I speak. I'm not a "YAS QWEEN" type of fan boy. I'm here to have critical discussions about her art.

Not really a fan of the colors or Gaga's style in this cover. Oh well. Still hoping for an amazing dance anthem, though.

I'm getting Alanis Morissete vibes. I hope I'm wrong. I mean, I love Alanis but I don't like her songs as much as I like Gaga's.

Why is it that when one such as yourself posts an opinion piece and is then challenged with another opinion you immediately go to the "sorry im not up her ass" defense. I do not want you to be a YAS QWEEN fan boy nor am I nor do I respect it from anyone else. Nothing in either of my posts remotely suggests or alludes to ass kissing needing to be made. Im just over your particular brand of holier than thou gaga-cynicism. you can continue to post on here and i will not ignore it but i just dont think your point of view is nearly as profound or trail-blazing as you pompously believe it so. from one arrogant to another.
