She has been a total rocker from the start, which is why this looks amazing. I want to cry because I feel like Gaga is truly evolving and I believe that this new album will really shine a new light on Gaga's passion for music, and it already shows through that single cover.

some fans might not like it but the GP will be shook at how un-gaga this may be lol

I think many people are making jump conclusions about this entire era based off the single cover. Let me ask you: how much of an influence did any of the past lead single covers have on their respective eras? 

 

 

Aside from MAYBE Born This Way, none of these covers were strictly indicative of the era as a whole. They gave us an idea, but she never sticks with a single style throughout an era. some people need to chill

Of course none of them were strictly indicative and we aren't saying they are, but its obvious the PI cover will show the aesthetic for the era.

 

just dance - the era was glamorous and very Pop.

Bad romance - the era was different, it was dark but also artistic.

ARTPOP - the era was ART in MUSIC. Gaga always referenced art in her fashion during the ARTPOP era, starting with Pierrot in the Applause cover.

So the lead cover does tell a lot..

Well, Applause was basically the only impact on the AP era but I get what you mean.

No, she's not being what YOU think Gaga should be. This woman has transformed herself over and over again. And that happens through album cycles as well. Remember that 2008 interview where she said she was a rockstar? Well now she's a full on rock goddess from the photos we are getting. Just because she's not wearing 12 inch heels and has a blonde wig with bangs doesn't mean this isn't Gaga. This is Gaga, but Stefani is n control of her now, not the other way around.

I was one last weekend saying she looked tired and was so impatient for her to get rid of those ill fitting jean shorts and ratty hair.  I hated those looks out in her bronco etc.  So anyway I know the feeling.  But something about these shorts are way better, and her body looks fire, she just looks alive!  And the hair is working for me.  I honestly love this and am here for it!  She brought it!  She will make the rock looks very gaga and they will be very well done now, the era is here!
