Glamourpuss 29,062
I'm wondering if the What's Going On cover was to let us know this is the path she's going down with her music.

LastNight 5,935
I love it, it's beautiful. It feels so free and energetic, I love the colours of the sky and the composition - it's so evocative to me. She is always the rebel. Anyone would reasonably expect a high production, avant-garde, outlandish photo shoot from Gaga but it's become clear that that's a very narrow definition of what's considered artistic or provocative. I love that she delivered us this instead. Although there might not necessarily be anything particularly innovative in the styling, it still feels fresh and rebellious to me and that's because of what we've come to expect from Gaga and because it has so much spirit, it stands out from how dull and lifeless the pop scene is overall nowadays. Don't get me wrong, I think there have been some great things to come out of pop music recently, but there is something about Gaga that always, always knocks everyone else out of the park. I can't wait to hear the song, this has made me so excited - the image perfectly captures when Gaga said Perfect Illusion is about "modern ecstasy. We found our sweet, simple, ragey way of saying it" and how iHeartRadio described it as Gaga "dancing her pain away." Bring on Friday!

I'm not a "YAS QWEEN" type of fan boy. I'm here to have critical discussions about her art. There is a helpful "ignore user" function on this forum which may make your experience more pleasant. I hope to god not. i really like the way she covered it, and thought she did a great job, but that genre of music is not my cup of tea.

It's ok to have different perspectives and opinions but it seems like everytime that poster post it's mostly always critical. I don't agree with everything Gaga does as well but I don't rant and troll about it either. Hence why during the C2C era I was no where on this site
Sadie 279
I feel like the LG5 era started when she started wearing those simple outfits and messy hair now that I look at the cover

blackcoffee 1,264
I can't even begin with how much I LOVE this cover! This is EXACTLY the aesthetic I was hoping for with this era and is the one she's been alluding towards for MONTHS. I love the rebel, rocker chic look. To me, it really fits who she says she really is and that's why I think it's strange to see so many people say that this isn't Gaga. This IS Gaga, the true Gaga...she's always been less pop star personality and more rockstar personality and she's always said that...she's always been a rebel and a lover of classic rock and heavy metal. Idk...this to me is just so Gaga. Love, love LOVE!
