I'll never understand why anyone would follow these silly religions. Especially so much to get sent to prison for. 

I'm so glad religious practice is on the decline. Hopefully it will continue to do so until it just becomes an old fairy tale told over cocktails on a Saturday night.

it can be scary though. I know as a kid they always taught us that one day we might have to not follow the law because it'll go against God and the Bible and that we should always do what the Bible says, no matter the consequences because we're under God and not the government  I went to a baptist church since I was born and their school from 1st to 12th grade so like this kind of behavior frightens me because I know how they tried to instructions my friends and I

Ugh this is why nobody can take religions seriously.

However it is because people have their own beliefs that mix with religion is why it is so cool and a deep well of belief and other good things.

But people like her ruin it for others, ostracizing everyone. They just use their teachings to justify their fear and hatred.

But I do hope it comes. Religion is just a way to please some people's ego by giving them the conviction they'll never die - no one is that important though

I'll never understand what goes through such ignorant and close-minded people. The Federal Government ruled in favor of gay marriage, what is there to argue? Because "it's against your moral code"?? Well so was being colored, being in an interracial relationship/marriage, and so were so many other things. 

Men cutting their hair? Sinful. Shellfish? An abomination. Clothing of different materials? Sinful.

It baffles me that people are so willing to stand against gay marriage, yet completely ignore some other things in the Bible. You can't pick and choose.

Unfortunately, this is a very confused secluded little swath of civilization high up in the crumbling mountains. I've been here for some time (too long) and this is the MAJORITY opinion, and beliefs are HEAVILY vocalized. Something of a sick devolution of a society, filed with so much anger and fear and ignorance to anything different.
