Come on people, wishing she quits the pop music industry and mocking her for everything she does is ridiculous and in the mean time very sad. And, why? Is it because jealousy or something? Of course, everybody is free in having an opinion about her music and whole appearance, but I think it's unnecessary to drag her to hell like some of guys around here seem like to do. Cause, let's be honest, Katy Perry is a great performer and one of the most successful artists in the world right now. Her 'sugar pop' hits perform really well in the charts. I don't want to blame anybody specifically, but it's really annoying to see all those ungrounded hate comments every time there is a topic about Katy Perry. We as Little Monsters should praise and support creativity and especially someone who knows what she is doing. Grant her for her career. 'Rise' may not be her best single, also commercially. But that doesn't mean she is 'out of the game' as some people on this site would like to believe. Do you really think Gaga would support you guys in blacking Katy Perry? She may not be the best vocalist, but she is an amazingly talented performer! And for now, enjoy some nice Katy Perry performances. We've to wait a few more days before we can listen to PI non-stop. I also can't stand her voice and think she relies on gimmicks and big tits to sell her brand, but that's neither here nor there. It's mostly about the Gaga and Britney thing. KURUSHITOVSKA 20,451 Posted September 5, 2016 Share Posted September 5, 2016 Bashing little monsters, very limited talent, songs specifically made to be a hit, no artistic evolution, always hanging on someone else (Roar-Applause, Rise-Make Me), and she looks fake, she didn't say anything about Kesha because she knew DrLuke made her biggest hits while a lot of people in the industry stood up for her, then she says she is a feminist but can't say a word about it. Mediocre videos made with a green screen overappreciated. I liked her in the Teenage Dream era and the previous one, but then she got like super fake and seems like she is always doing a certain character idk. Her music tends to be interesting to me for about 2 weeks and then becomes irritating. Her cartoonish image doesn't really appeal to me and I don't understand her appeal as a performer. She just isn't for me. I don't mind her being successful or whatever though, I say this in every topic made about this but she could get #1 hits for the next 50+ years and I wouldn't care one bit I don't wish any artist I don't like any bad luck or failure, I just avoid listening to them and listen to artists I like instead. Also, thinking because the GP loves her so much that the LMs kinda dislike her further Spoiler I love her though, and her bops have been great for past summers.
