Thomas P 18,479
...Beyoncé released her second solo album, one that went by the name of B'Day. This album is undoubtedly one of the best albums Beyoncé has ever released, and it's a personal favourite of mine. It sparked the hits Beautiful Liar, Ring The Alarm, Dèja Vu, and one of the biggest songs Bey has ever released (and the best selling song of 2007) Irreplaceable. The album was Beyoncé's second consecutive number 1, and went on to sell over 8 million units world wide. It was a major success and major source of importance for the years to come. It introduced the concept of having a video for each song to Beyoncé (a trend she would continue in the coming years), and won her several awards, including a Grammy for best contemporary R&B album. It was also released in conjunction with Beyoncé's 25 birthday, hence the name, B'Day. It truly is a remarkable album! I would also like to make this thread into one where we can celebrate Beyoncé. This day doesn't just mark the 10 year anniversary of B'Day, it also marks Beyoncé's 35 birthday. She truly is one of the best to ever do it. A living legend, and a true inspiration. I love you Bey, and from all of us here at gagadaily, HAPPY B'DAY!!!!! I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

T3ARS 4,132
My favorite song was "Beautiful Lair" It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences. - Audre Lorde
