I've always been a fan of numerology and thought I'd do a breakdown of the date Perfect Illusion is set to be released on.

9/9/2016

Day and month are already single digits so first break down the year by adding the digits together until you have a single digit.

2+0+1+6= 9

9 9 9

9+9+9= 27

2+7=      9 (main number) 

So now that we broke down our numbers, we ended up with

999      / 27  /       9

9= Completion, unity, humanitarian, love, psychic ability, ending, and benevolence. If 9 is heavily starred in a persons life it mainly represents a long pathos about to end and you begin a new one. A new path you would've never found without being in your current one. Spiritual Awkening

27= The number of the humanitarian, of harmony, spiritual insights and unconditional love.  Number 27 is a message that new information or news of a positive nature is on its’ way, so listen to your intuition and heed its guidance for your highest good.  Number 27 is a message to believe in yourself, your intuitive messages and your inner-promptings. You have been receiving messages about your Divine life purpose, and follow the guidance and directions accordingly. Trust that your angels support you in your spiritual endeavours.

Theres a meaning and reason for everything.  there are signs all around us guiding us everyday that many are blind to, and they miss out on good luck And other fortunate events without realizing. Numbers are everywhere ALL the time. And EVERY number big and small can be broken down to a core number 1-9, but there are meanings and definitions for numbers all the way in the thousands.
