I hope. Radio is not as big here as it is in the USA (because it's not factored into the charts), but it's exposure after all. I think Perfect Illusion would even fit right into the soundscape of our biggest station (Antenne Bayern), they play Bruce Springsteen 24/7, but they'd have to make the concious decision to add it, since requesting is not... really a thing.

Yeah-- They'll probably be watching Spotify to see if they want to play it on radio. US radio kinda does the same thing

Gaga better announce when the video will drop tomorrow and serve amazing fashion in NYC.

She should air the video in Times Square or something big to grab headlines.

Maybe promo should come from somewhere else, not just radio. The promo there is okay but people probably need to hear the song on TV. The video should come out at least Tuesday and get major promo on Youtube.

Exactly. They need to make the song look like an EVENT so that the impact is there.

You right but honestly the event releases we are used to are probably over for Gaga. The music business makes more money from catalog sales than anything current. Spending too much money on event like releases is probably over for everyone in the music industry. They care more about longevity.

I'm just really sad about the negativity, both here and elsewhere  It's one of the major buzzkillers for this song and when people go to Youtube/Spotify and see haters, it affects your perception and experience of the song. 

It's like Gaga and her team really went in with such low expectations that they didn't even want to be competitive. They fail to realize that it's such an important part of Pop music and selling is part of what makes the song listenable.

This couldnt be more true. I remember tons of hosts/presenters saying "#1 song" while presenting performers when the song only hit #1 on itunes and not on the BB100
