I feel like PI and Dark Horse are similar in that they are a shocking new sound for both artists and so it takes people a while to get used to them but once people start liking them take off. I'm not saying that PI will become as big as Dark Horse (which is Katy's biggest hit, at least in the US, to date) but I do feel like the song can take off. It might not happen but I don't think we should give up hope until the song is actually dead. Il even beat Unconditionnally the 2nd single. Almost always top 20 iTunes since the release without radios... then it became THE smash we know.. My point was that she didnt really did that much promo until album release.
