The NEW Charts Thread - Track Million Reasons

What's the odds of this hitting top 10 in UK. Is there any green updates as of late or a noticeable trend in the Spotify streams that indicates a grower? I tend not to follow this stuff and only really form opinions based on figures people post in the thread :rip:

I mean I'm very curious as to what Bobby and Gaga's plans for this single were from the beginning. As messy as Applause's release was, we had the video with a morning show premiere after the first week  and then she opened the VMAs the week after that which made it a success.

For Perfect Illusion so far we've had a few radio interviews. And most popular shows like The Tonight Show, Ellen and James Corden already have their next week's line-up announced, so it seems unlikely she's going to be doing any big promo next week.

Given all this, I'm not sure how they could expect the song to last with so little being done to promote it right now. And if the promo is starting in a couple weeks, PI might be too far down the iTunes charts to save unless maybe it has a discount.

mte its only frustrating thing, like its normal that song will fall now but it annoys me that they arent doing anything to stop that

Oh well, there's always the second single and if not. It's been a good run. We can be indie fans now.

I can't believe it's #12 debut :/

It's not going ANY higher.. its just dropping on iTunes constantly and Spotify isn't increasing!

I'm not really bothered though I ****ing loveee this song and the album will slay. Just disappointed in my countries taste -_-

Maybe they will choose something less different from the album for the next single :) who knows :D

Don't complain, Perfect illusion has been played only once in 4 days on the Dutch Radio and the song is currently #54 on iTunes. Besides that, the only articles I read about her here are saying her time is over and she isn't innovative enough anymore. :(

I was reading the last pages of this thread and with your reactions thought it had debuted outside the top 20 or something :rip:

#12 is not a bad debut considering how it trailed off on iTunes towards the end of this week... I was expecting far worse if I'm honest. Next week however really will be bad if that video doesn't come anytime soon. Radio 1 and Capital have playlisted her so that might sustain it a bit, but it's still falling out of the top 20 if it continues at this pace.

Anyway as others have noted, this has done better than other pop girl debuts as of late i.e. Britney and Katy. I think it's also worth considering that along with poor/non-existent promo as of late from the megastars, it's indicative that people likely don't think it's "cool" to be into big pop artists right now. Except... Bieber. lol

She can save this. Radio support makes hits. But it ain't gonna budge until the damn video comes. Hope she doesn't leave it too late.

PI debuts on weekly Spotify charts at #30 WW with 11,413,474 streams.

The Greatest #10 with 18 million streams.

Side to side rises to #13 with 17 million streams.

Into You slides to #20 with 13 million streams.

Final Song slides to #22 with 13 million streams.

Britney slides to #107 with 3 million streams.

Rise slides to #162 with 2 million streams.

With Ariana streaming two songs so well world wide and in the US, I wonder if her album will jump back to the Top 10 of BB200. The YT #s of STS are also insane.

I am so happy she's flopping so hard ah ah ah ah

I remember you littletards :" PI is #1 in 60 countries SLAAYYYYY", and now she's freefalling everywhere! :D

This song is pure rubbish, the album and the single's cover is atrocious, and this new Gaga Sucks! GP is not interested on her anymore, get over it.

This will be the end of her career.

I am so happy! You got what you deserved after years of bullying and attacking other fandoms.

PAWS DOWN LITTLE MONSTERS! ah ah ah ah

I don't really consider Beyonce and Rihanna to be purely pop megastars atm cos their music (at the moment at least) is very urban orientated. Drake is a rapper. And I said Bieber.
