She just debut at #40 on Spotify in Aus, so hopefully that's a sign of things to come as airplay picks up. :poot:

Nice! Hopefully it can debut in the top 40 on the official charts.

I think Gaga has such little momentum there that even going to Australia wouldn't PI stabilise in the top 5. Just go there for the album/tour promo :neyde: it's not like they noticed PI, so she can just go to Australia and promote the second single there instead. Girl gotta focus on the momentum she has in Brazil and South Europe. I just imagine Gaga being welcomed by a mob of 3k homosexuals singing 'perfect illusion' and 'gaga eu ti amo'. She could use that for the documentary for her to seem relevant :neyde:

Yeah- AUS factors streaming into charts now and it's gotten huge there like Sweden etc. If she does well there it'll have to be Spotify that drives it

It seems to be really catching on with radio in America, plus her promo for the US only really starts tomorrow. I remember the first few days of Applause's release there was literally like 15 radio station interviews, so if she does that and does some TV promo there (Jimmy Fallon, Ellen, Carpool Karoake etc.) and releases the video this week, it has potential to be a great hit

Also need I remind anyone (I did a few days ago but whatever), only 1 song this year (I think) has gone #1 after it's debut. Let's look at the number 1 singles of this year:

Sorry and Love Yourself both went #1 weeks after debuting

One Dance took ages to get #1 and stayed there for like 9 weeks

Cheap Thrills also took months to get #1

Work took a few weeks to get #1 and stayed there for ages

Closer went #1 like a month after debuting.

The song is doing fine on sales, great on radio and better than expected on YouTube and Spotify streams. The song has also only been out 2 days and she hasn't even done any US promo or released a video.

some of you are drama queens

for me the song is doing great for 3 days so far ww

I didn't expect it tbh and nothing hasn't started yet.

The song needs time, that's all.
