Any comparison stats? Applause VS Perfect Illusion?

Also, wasn't Gaga's last iTunes #1 lead single, BTW, in 2011? Literally almost 5 years! Hopefully my fellow Americans buy the song when they wake up. :classy:

i caught your fever, i'll be feeling it forever

I dont get this "wake up" thing really. Vice versa, this is the time all monsters are heavily purchasing. The people waking up will probably care about other artists more than Gaga.

Radios will play it every hour, everybody will talk about her new single. People will get interested and buy/ stream it

Why does she always struggle to get to the top in Germany. I mean, she goes right to #1 in Italy and Spain and a little bit slower in France. West-Mainland Europe's music taste is very similar and I just don't get ittttt.

Fans just seem to be in smaller numbers and less passionate here.. only about 10 people in the Netherlands bought it before 7 AM.

Japan is not important for now. Applause took a few days to go Top 5 on iTunes there. Japan is all about momentum and longevity. And this sound does have potential for Japan. They only dislike American hip hop/urban/R&B, they love pure pop (Telephone) but 80s pop (Born This Way) and rock-pop (Avril) do well there too.

Just brought, we need number 1 :) why gaga's here :)

We need it here! I haven't been listening to radios here, but I wonder if they are playing it on repeat.

In my messy era.

She's currently at #4 here in South Africa - and no doubt will rise all the way to 1 as they are just about to debut the song on radio in the next few minutes:excited2:

She said she's staying in the UK for a couple more days. If Bobby has more promo lined up, that's genius. He's focusing on the biggest market that they could debut #1 in and then focusing on markets where the single can't debut big but can climb (US and maybe Japan)
