It's up to the writer to choose what the structure of the song's gonna be. You can have an intro, a verse, a chorus and an outro / verse, chorus, verse, chorus (x2) / etc. exactly, just like Telephone, the song structure is very rare Long Live Gretchen

Killa 17,461
It would be nice if it doesn't follow the usual formula, it's common place in pop song to have a bridge..but sometimes i cringe a bit. Gaga does it very well most of the times, and many songs the bridge is my favorite part. I'm here for a change that still feels like a usual pop song. It require skill and demands a good melodic line and a conving poem. It might even not be now but she'll be exhausted of having a chorus and deliver a song with just AB on repeat or something like that, no chorus. Structure is just a guideline, the music will tell you, i hope she has that kind of liberty after so many songs and passing through so many genres. And the lead single should not just be commercial but set the place that she is in this album as a songwritter.

REALITY 76,315
The bridges are some of the best parts of her songs. Plus, bridges are in pretty much every song, that's like asking if a song should have a chorus 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎
estxkid 872
The question is, did she write old-school middle 8 or nowadays middle 8 with 8 or more bars. There is no doubt that there will be a bridge if it's longer than 4 minutes.
hELXIG 42,966
Briiiiiiidge. And while we're talking about bridges, lets once again hail the iconic bridge in Judas that was honestly the weirdest thing to hit pop music stations in years I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. Lord Axel 824
Every song should have a bridge tbh, they're usually the best part of a song I don't like the trend where the bridge is just a different arrangement of the chorus and then the original chorus comes after ʟɪᴠɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴇ ɢᴏʟᴅ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱɪʟᴠᴇʀ ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍ ϟ†▽✰𝒿 ~Ɐ
