Does Britney Spears still love her job?

I was watching the Make Me VMA performance until I read this comment:

Honestly, i believe that Britney just doesnt wanna be THE BRITNEY SPEARS anymore, i think she is over being a superstar. I feel like she only continues to do it, not because she loves it but because she has too. She has kids to support. I think her joy comes from being just Britney Spears the mother. She looks so happy when she is with her kids and being a mom. I dont see the same sprakle in her eye that she had from the previous years. Its gone

 

I actually love Britney so don't mistake me as a hater. But I realised how accurate that comment was. It's not that she has aged, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Eminem, Jennifer Lopez are in their 30s/40s yet they perform with such vigour that you can still tell that they have much passion in their job.

Whereas even if Britney dances really hard, she seems like 'I'm doing my very best, yes, I'm doing every dance move as hard as I can,' but still her eyes don't reflect passion. Even in interviews, she seems to smile awkwardly, it doesn't seem like she enjoys being photographed, it seems like she's speaking in her head 'Okay, IT'S PR TIME. SMILE. LEMME BE YOUR REGULAR POP STAR'

whereas Gaga and Beyonce's facial expression while being photographed screams 'Bitch, I'm not here to fck around'

what do you think? Does Britney still love being an entertainer/performer?

Sometimes i do think that what she does is more of a business and way to make money than something she enjoys doing.

And i think this is influenced by those who surround her

It definitely didn't start out that way, but it could be the case now

Anyways I think she's back to enjoying it, I mean she's doing promo again and her dancing and everything is really a lot more exciting so I think she enjoys it, but I also think she'd enjoy being just a mom more. One of her interviews recently she said she wants to do 9 more albums so there's your answer

She doesn't care anymore, and she has every right not to. After what she's been through I can understand not wanting to be who she is anymore.

Britney suffers from anxiety and you can tell she is uncomfortable in certain  situations, if you look at her photos from the VMA's you can see how she is in situations where she is comfortable, she loves being a pop star though, she said in that interview a couple days ago how she wants to make 9 more albums and we won't get rid of her.

I never thought she was made for the entertainment industry tbh, I think it's the classic case of wanting to be a performer but not really wanting the status of an icon and not wanting the celebrity life, this can obviously be seen in her public breakdown, she was the biggest star at the time but other stars have reached that fame and controlled their mental state and haven't suffered public breakdowns (i'm not bashing brit for breaking down I'm just saying I don't think she was made for fame). I think in her early career she really worked hard and embraced it but once she blew up she couldn't handle it and then I think she cared less, she's a mother and now I think she just wants a support network and a family, in all honesty I think she's in a good place now and doing things that make her comfortable, working in Vegas means she can perform but also stay in one place, be more grounded and have family time. With her miming it helps with her confidence, she knows that she can put on a good show and perform without focusing on trying to be this incredible singer, I think she cares less but also she's compromising and now more than ever she's working on things and doing things that only she is comfortable and capable with and if she missing opportunities because of that then I think her reaction is f*ck it.

Did you watch the same VMA performance I watched? She tried so hard and did her best! Even Rihanna looks more over it than Britney Yes, she lipsyncs. But you have to know that that is the norm for Britney. What you saw on that stage, the dancing, the effort, the presence; that's not what you expect from someone who's "over it".

She is worth 200 million dollars she doesnt need to work to support her kids anymore, she has enough $$$ to do that. She said in numerous interviews that she loves her job and will continue to make albums... money isn't the problem.

I mean, it's not like she doesn't have enough money to retire, so she must still enjoy it.

Rihanna looked more over it than Britney?  How though she was so badass, I mean yeah her singing was problematic but than her dancing was oddly badass.

Unfortunately if she doesn't love her job she doesn't really have a choice.  Her dad and/or boyfriends are legally in charge of what she does.
