C'mon, Rih, be cool, don't cockblock us:poot:

EDIT: I know Rih and Drake are kind of an item, but I'd much rather see her working with someone like Kendrick or Kanye...I really don't care for Drake.

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

It's a hoax.. I'm sorry

:madge:

A joint album would have completely destroyed me. Drake and Rih are two of my favorite artists. Welp. Maybe in the future :madge:

Rihanna's music's ok but Drake's is terrible, at least to me. It's controversial to say, but if he was white, he'd be called out for being a terrible singer, a bad lyricist and he wouldn't be taken seriously.

What even sis? :what:

Mess is a small word for this sh*t

She postponed it because she wasn't getting hits with those 3 singles. The success of FourFiveSeconds would be enough for most artists, but it didn't go to #1 in the US or UK, Rihanna's 2 biggest markets, so it was deemed a failure in her eyes. The other 2 were even worse flops. So she decided to reboot the era with a Drake feature, seeing as he's really hot right now and has been proven to give her hits in the past. Predictable as can be. That girl has so many chances to be saved from flopping when so many artists don't.

Not you acting like your some type of insider when there are multiple reasons as to why the 3 singles weren't released. :air:

FYI she said why Work was the first single and the song was made with Drake before it was given to her. :emma:

I'm sorry, but this is one of the most ignorant and stupid posts that I've read lol

Lemme guess, you also think that the only reason why Obama became president was because he is black? Lmao

Why do you think that? I'm sorry if I caused any offence, but honestly, when I see an urban artist who's so blatantly bad but yet, they get so much love, I just have to wonder if race is playing a subconscious part in our minds more often that we'd care to admit.

There is no offense taken lol. I agree to a certain extent but I think the factor you are missing is the black community within the urban community. I love all genres of music but I'm just going to focus on the part of me that loves urban music.

There are some artist that are likely to buy music out of respect for the artist. I agree. But there are some instances that consumers buy music because they identify with the music. That's why I listen to more black urban artist than white on a regular day because I identify with their lyrics more. And usually black urban artist get a little more of a sales boost because they already have a black urban audience so all they have to do is make it more "pop" to expand their audience.

I don't think at the end of the day it is a respect thing. Just look at the accumulative target audiences each artist has. I wish I knew what songs/albums you considered to be good/bad so I could go into more detail.

Now the shade you were throwing I'm just gonna mark that as your opinion lol. And don't come for daddy Drake!:grr:lol
