She postponed it because she wasn't getting hits with those 3 singles. The success of FourFiveSeconds would be enough for most artists, but it didn't go to #1 in the US or UK, Rihanna's 2 biggest markets, so it was deemed a failure in her eyes. The other 2 were even worse flops. So she decided to reboot the era with a Drake feature, seeing as he's really hot right now and has been proven to give her hits in the past. Predictable as can be. That girl has so many chances to be saved from flopping when so many artists don't.

I'm simply saying he gets more respect because he's black, which makes people more likely to buy into his work. As a fan of rap, I can't help but notice that the white ones, bar Eminem, just can't seem to get the respect levels of their black peers. It's unquestionable that we think of urban music as a black genre. Even I admit that blacks do it best. But that doesn't mean that other races should be automatically thrown out when they try to enter the ring. I've seen black rappers that are just as bad or worse than white rappers, yet their critical reception and sales don't seem to mirror that. If you're white in this game, you're seen as bad before you've even started. But if you're black, you're automatically seen in a more respectable light, before you've even opened your mouth. The black rappers of today are not a patch on the 90's ones. Their voices are almost parodical, blocked toilets have better flow than them and their lyrics are so bad, they should lose all street cred. But what do they get? Critical praise, #1 albums, millions sold. A white person comes along and beats them at their own game and what do they get? Mixed critical reception, floppy albums, can't even sell a tour. I don't care what race someone is, if you're good, you're good, if you're bad, you're bad. And I won't have a problem pointing that out. But it seems like everyone else is wearing rose tinted glasses.

You already admitted you were wrong when I proved this idea to be false when I showed you several examples of white rappers being acclaimed and black rappers being panned. Why are you so desperate to do this all the time?
