President Trump 3,508
Okay he was wrong and it was traumatizing for the girl and sucks and he's an idiot. Its also interesting to think about it from his viewpoint. He was at a party and the next thing he knew he was in jail and his life was essentially over. He was drunk and evidently blacked out when he found the drunk girl passed out behind a dumpster and fingered her (I read that's what he did but it doesn't matter). Sucks for him and maybe it shows what kind of character he has as to what he what he would do drunk and basically not conscious. But it must be a terribly unique situation for him, looking at it from his perspective alone. I'm not trying to justify him or anything, and it was awful and terrible and he deserves more than what he got. So don't come at me little revengesters... I can see the comments now ("I hate this forum sometimes", "how dare you stand up for this rapist", "RIHPORTED."). But literally all I'm saying is that it must be interesting from his point of view, literally suddenly waking up out of nowhere and you have become a totally different person, viewed differently by everyone, and you committed an atrocious act, and your life is practically over. sucks for everybody but it was his fault and if anybody deserves to suffer, he does. Interesting for him? Yes, sexual assault and attempted rape is very "interesting". He wasn't in a blackout or unconscious. His victim was! The sex offender gave an eleven page testimony detailing the events of the evening...including the time outside behind the dumpster. Of course, that was all a bunch of lies he was saying to try and cover his sorry ass. He was drunk, but aware of what was happening...the victim was not. At least he has a lifetime ban from US swimming and he will always be registered as a sex offender.

But y'all know that there's gonna be a plethora of shitty men who'll praise him and wanna be his buddies for this. Brian Ryan 1,468
Great. I hope he actually get help from his actions. Research has proven prison and jails do not do anything.
Teal Ambition 47,805
Update: Brock Turner released from jail today As he exited Santa Clara County Jail, people in the crowd shouted to Turner, who wore a button up shirt and pants, “Are you going to say you’re sorry, Brock?” He did not respond, and avoided making eye contact with them. The Santa Clara County Sherrif Laurie Smith was at the jail Friday ahead of Turner’s release advocating for a bill that aims to increase the punishment for sex crimes against intoxicated victims. In the release, Smith writes, “probation is not a fair sentence for anyone convicted of a sexual assault felony against an intoxicated and unconscious victim.” https://www.buzzfeed.com/ellencushing/brock-turner-has-been-released-from-jail-after-serving-three?utm_term=.pfzjpVYBJX#.qlyjW6q9EO ▌│█║▌║▌║ before I am Canadian, I am Chromatican ║▌║▌║█│▌
HausOfNicole 177
I don't know the full case history so I'll look it up later. But from the light details I have, it's not really so much his fault he's being released as much as it is America's laws against rape. You just aren't imprisoned for extremely long durations. The good thing is the felony on his record will in fact follow him throughout life and his name and face are publicly known so it won't be dream street for him once he is out. pink sushi 4,351
Wow he's being released ALREADY? 3 months is nothing.... He should have gotten about 5 years. At least he has to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. That alone can DESTROY someone's life tbh....
