Seriously, it's kind of crazy the era we are living in. In 2016, it is completely acceptable --- encouraged, even --- to objectify the male physique. With absolutely no regard for modesty. One of the biggest broadcast corporations in the world is publishing this article about a 23-year-old man's package. 

Don't get me wrong, I'm here for it. 

But, could you imagine the backlash if this Tweet was about Britney instead, with the title, "Britney Spears' tits showed up at the VMA's and Twitter was here for it." I mean, they would be lynched! 

It's just... a very interesting time we are living in. :oprah:

It's interesting that people are free to call out the gender double standard when it comes to men being sexually objectified without repercussion in Western Culture, but those same people would be labeled Islamaphobic and racist if they questioned the ethics of the gender double standard in the Middle Eastern cultures which require women to dress far more modestly than their male peers.
