Yeah he probably meant that he felt weird when they started writing when they had just met (aka back in may). And Gaga has had lyrical contributors before, many times.

I didn't say that pop is ONLY dance. I said that it might imply that Gaga is sticking with HER synthpop/dance sound. Yes all of her music sounds different from album to album but overall it fits into one main category - every album has similar genre songs (besides Cheek To Cheek, obviously) but honestly - every one of Gaga's lead singles has been uptempo, fun dance songs
