The main reason why Taylor Swift had a problem with Spotify is that they refused to let her have premium-only exclusivity. They said she had to agree to the free trial (which is what she had a problem with) as it is their major unique selling point. That's why she removed all her music. Music 15,215 Posted August 26, 2016 Share Posted August 26, 2016 the only bad thing that could sprawl out of an exclusive deal with Apple Music would be Spotify's vengeance towards Gaga utilising the opponents streaming service before theirs. as stated by Billboard, "they might “bury” your act or “not promote your artist and that can be extremely damaging." this was proven with Rise's performance and exposure on Spotify - she wasn't added on any playlists with more than 750k+ listeners*, nor was she featured on any advertisement/new releases banner. --- as a Spotify user, i don't think i'd switch to Apple Music just because Gaga's releasing on their platform; especially if i'm satisfied on Spotify.out of curiosity, would you guys change/join to Apple Music because Gaga's exclusively releasing on there?
