Lucas 26,776
There are a lot of songs that I love on the album but I don't think any has the thing that would make it become a hit, even Slumber Party and Liar who are damn catchy aren't lead single worthy, they miss an original something
JamJams 307
I definitely think she had better options than Make Me bluffin with ur muffin
Reid LePage 4,837
I honestly couldn't think of a better lead single imo, but I really liked Man On The Moon.
MaryJaneHolland 77,348
And you know why? Because it has a ''cool'' rapper featured in it. Singers whose career is low-key tanked, add rappers to the songs, because they think that's the only way to get a hit, and release them as singles. That's what Britney did. It's such a bop + people would talk about these "Cry me a river" references ( I wasn't aware of them until I checked remark a few hours ago...) I was talking more general. Also it is a labels decision not hers. If All You Ever Do Is Look Down On People, You Won't Be Able To Recognize Your Own Weaknesses. Aleks 3,946
I think "Make Me..." is not that bad as a lead single actually. My choices would be this : 01. Make Me... (feat. G-Eazy) 02. Better 03. Just Like Me 04. Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes) We don’t really need to talk too much, show each other what we know 🦋

Brian Ryan 1,468
It was the best choice for a first single. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Just because it didn't go number one and probably won't does not make it a bad choice. It has more single material than anything on the album. When I say single material I mean songs doing well on the radio v songs a person likes more. Make Me was their best chance at a hit from this album and they ****ed it up. Vague 424
Not the best but certainly not the worst. Its literally better than all of the promo singles and more interesting than half of the record.
