But when you have a large group of people who still expect that same outrageous pop star who dances and wears these crazy costumes while singing pop dance hits, I think it's safe to say there will be a significant disappointment this time around. Fans convinced themselves during the Cheek To Cheek era and everything post 2014 basically that "Gaga is just resting up for the next album" aka another Gaga tweet/quote that was taken out of proportions. I think they haven't realized yet that she has changed and so has her music. I don't know if I'm up for that, myself. But I'm open for new things. That makes me wonder what fans, who are not open and even deny any thought of Gaga's style changing drastically in front of their eyes, will think when the new single will be released. It's obviously not going to be a Just Dance/Bad Romance kind of "dance", since we know that it's going to have a more organic feel, but I don't think her "pop" fans (what does that even mean?) will be disappointed as long as they can bop and dance to it. It's a first single by a major popstar who is signed to a major label. I'm all in for her to push the boundaries of music, but I'm sure that she won't release a full rock (or whatever other than "pop") song as her new first single. If I'm proven wrong I'll be happy and fascinated with her totally new direction, if I'm proven right I'll be equally as happy bopping to a new massive anthem by Lady Gaga.
