i could see not liking it, but its not dated. 7-10 years ago sounds like this wouldn't exist prolly. Neither would the careers of all the writers/producers.

But all the good tracks are after 5, so you're missing out

But is it really any different than let's say Circus? It feels more like something from earlier in her career. Again, I only listened to 5 tracks before I quit, so obviously I can't fully comment on it as a whole.

Look, I'm happy for Brit fans. It seems like they've been dying for new stuff from her and as long as they like it, who cares.

Give me your opinion on the best track and I'll be willing to listen to it.

They classicascause they have a great production. This whole Glory album produced by all this "edgy" producers are just random af,  + the point is Britney dont give a Fck about her music, thats why shes not taken seriously, and shes not even close at Madonna or Gagas level

with ARTPOP i'm not even sure if she still has it in her anymore, but not counting her out just yet, we'll see with PI :reductive:

anywho the song became classic bc it was unique, but more importantly it was a HIT worldwide. the main criteria is that it has to be a hit period. 'womanizer', 'toxic' all is great in their own way but if they were not hits it would not be a classic. so lets just hope she spawn some huge hits this era to add to her catalogue

you don't like 'man on the moon' and 'just luv me'? then i'm afraid there's no hope for u tbh

but if you're willing to give it another go, 'slumber party' is amongst the top 3 for sure imo. it takes the mainstream sound of current pop music but she totally make it her own. super sultry, super chill and passionate, her voice fits perfectly with the track. it's glorious.

It's her best album since Blackout hands down.

It's classic Brit but she kept up with music trends and didn't try that hard. BJ was such a hot mess and FF just had some soul less bops.

Better should have been the first single.

I feel like this should have been the tracklist:

Standard

1. Invitation
2. Man on the Moon
3. Make Me...
4. Do You Wanna Come Over?
5. Slumber Party
6. Private Show
7. Clumsy
8. Just Luv Me
9. Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortés)
10. Love Me Down
11. Better
12. Coupure Électrique

Deluxe

13. Just Like Me
14. Liar
15. Hard to Forget Ya
16. If I'm Dancing
17. What You Need

what were the misses in ur opinion.

Private show does not appeal to me at all, Invitation is bland and what you want had SOOOOO much potential but it's so repetitive and gets annoying. Wish they had done something different with it, her vocals sound really good on it, it could have smashed if they added something else to the song.

Private Show is terrible. So is Clumsy. the only thing i don't like about Invitation is the vocal production.

OT: Did anyone else notice the fact most of the songs have the same layout. Do You Wanna Come Over? and Make Me sound totally different but they both have the same shorter/super catchy pre chorus and a unique/dancey drop. Same as Love Me Down, Change Your Mind (kinda).

Go listen to Love Me Down, If I'm Dancing, Just Like Me & Liar and if you want to have a funny moment listen to the French song.
