Imagine these scenarios: Scenario 1: Just like with Applause Gaga just tweets 'POP EMERGENCY!!' and then shortly after releases Perfect Illusion and rushes it to radios. Scenario 2: You're watching the VMAs and then the host announces the next performance as 'a surprise performer', what follows is Madison Square Garden turning complete dark for 10 seconds, when suddenly in big white letters 'POP MUSIC EMERGENCY' appears with the sound of an alarm in the background, and then the beat kicks in and the lights go on again and Gaga is standing on the stage with all her dancers and performs Perfect Illusion. Scenario 3: You're watching the VMAs and suddenly Gaga walks on stage and announces that she has something nice for her monsters, and then a preview of the Perfect Illusion music video together with a snippet of the song is shown and she announces that it will be out on Apple Music for streaming after the show ends, a week earlier than the actual release.
