Not many labels would allow her such freedom and room to create. It wasn't Interscope who was at fault for AP. It was her mis-management. I'm sure she's had her disagreements with them like everyone does in their line of work but overall there is a mutual respect. Gaga is a major player for Interscope and they will continue to honour her vision purely because she brings in a lot of money for them. I imagine she will stay. IK she probably has had a few speed bumps here and there but I feel like they have built good will and understanding with each other I mean she's pretty close with Jimmy Iovine and I think after this album and tour it will just strengthen their bond. They manage everything legal, from as little as getting a song registered to a repertoire, to filing lawsuits against companies/people who illegally use/download an art work. They manage the career of their artists, book events for them, TV meetings, magazine deals etc. You literally can't go big on your own in today's world. I find it incredibly odd when I see people on pop forums complaining about these major labels that are obviously MUCH more beneficial not only for her career and in continuing to have a platform but for YOU the consumer who wants to support her. aaronyoji 2,054 Posted August 21, 2016 Share Posted August 21, 2016 you guys act like shes an up and coming struggling artist she doesnt need the money, shes literally set for life. her label only gave her creative freedom when she was the IT girl, the minute she became less popular, they tightened the leash, and her ****ing manager quit the day before an album was released. she should move to wherever twigs is signed, maybe she'll take notes on creative music videos...
