I came here just to write that her ARTPOP is coming and then I realized everyone wrote that like 7 hours ago

I don't hate Katy, but I've literally never been less hyped for an album by anyone than I am for KP4...

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

I can't work with Dr. Luke anymore because his reputation is really **** at the moment so I can't have hits with him, so I had to work with another producers..

Katy is a great hitmaker and singles artist, but the minute she tries to make a cohesive album it falls apart. Her 'dark' era was Prism? Pls tell me how Unconditional or This is How We Do are dark songs :madge:

How is she a hitmaker  she doesnt do anything, Dr Luke is the hit maker

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

Inb4 album produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Shellback, etc. Not that I listen to her music, but it's not the first time she says she's doing something "different", "experimenting with new sounds" and ends up being the same thing.

She sounds like she have no idea ehat she is talking about. "things like that, stuff like that".

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

She acts like she has actually chosen to work with new producers and writers.

Bonnie is an amazing indie-drag-pop hybrid on her own and staying away from big names now.

Max Martin has both found a new pop girl and is starting to mix things up again.

And Dr. Luke, well, when she probz started to work on the record he wasn't the go to producer actually.

Plus. (And it's a big plus): Her fans, her haters and people in the biz are dying to see her changing things up.

that's probably due to her limited vocabulary :air:

can't expect much from a girl who sings about feeling like a plastic bag after all.

Oh please.

Katy's music will forever be catchy pop songs, her version of 'experimental' would just have a bit of EDM or trap music effects added to the songs, in the end it'll still be her normal catchy pop song. Hell, even her ballads/power ballads like Rise, Unconditionally & Thinking of You don't get as much as attention as her other bubblegum pop songs, the GP simply look to her for her singles, not her albums.

She & her team knows that without chart success, Katy is nothing. I'm pretty sure the Grammys just had to nominate her just because her songs hit #1 or #2, they never really viewed her as a serious artist.
