But honestly i just think she announced it's coming in september just so we don't meltdown when nothing happens at the VMAs. It feels like, this time it's all about the music. I think she mostly made the announcement because she knew tension was building and if fans expected an august release and a vma performance and didn't get it there would be massive meltdowns.
