There goes any concentration on the LG5 era and a good tour. She's gonna serve us a messy ARTPOP like era with few videos and random blackouts mid era like she did in December13 - January14.

I still dont think thats a good idea. Its sounds like she gonna get overworked like during the BTW tour. But hopefully everything goes as plan and no CHAOS happends

SMH @ the people thinking this will replace or affect LG5.

The music for this film will be not only part of the soundtrack, but in the movie as well. Think "Over the Rainbow" in relation to "The Wizard of Oz." In fact, this is Gaga's chance to create her own "Over the Rainbow" or "Singing in the Rain" or any song of that nature -- a classic that is remembered not only as part of a movie but as a cultural staple as well.

EDIT - For clarification, I didn't necessarily mean the sound of "Sledgehammer", but I'm here for the idea of her making completely new music for a film. 

Maybe it'll give us some insight about LG5 too 

 

I'm not sure if Sledgehammer is performed by Rihanna in the movie, but if she does perform it (not just having it played in the background), then yes. But I doubt it will be anything like the sound of LG5.

Shooting a movie isn't like shooting a series. If you're part of a show, you shoot for two weeks for an episode, and maybe you don't shoot until two weeks have passed. If you're shooting a movie where you're literally the main character, you're expected to be on set whenever. 

Hopefully Gaga + Bobby have a world tour planned out around this.

Never in the history of Lady Gaga did her tours start that early into an album cycle (assuming its coming within the next month or so). It always takes her about 8 months or so for the tour to kick off. The only exception would be TMB tour but that was during her absolute peak. I don't have any worries of this interfering with a tour. If anything, he single promotion will be dying down (again assuming she releases something in the next month) and all she would really have to focus on would be maybe some award show performances (grammy's, oscars, golden globes) which she could definitely fit into a filming schedule. This would be perfect for her.
