Well if you have been quiet in the pop scene for about 3 years, they should care. KP has sales that back her up, Coldplay, well they acted like an extra really in Beyonce and Bruno Mars' performance.

I'm just saying not to get your hopes up that gaga will perform.

I hope Gaga gets it, but Rihanna would be interesting. The only reason I'm not interested in Pink's is that all the songs I love by her, aren't family friendly, so she won't perform them probably.

All I can say about Gaga doing the Super Bowl is that I can see her opening with Born This Way. I imagine there being like 50 dancers on the field and it having that long intro sound thingy from the music video to build up a little hype until it ultimately breaks into scene and wrecks us all. Then the performance ends with her softly singing, "It's been a long time since I came around. It's been a long time, but I'm back in town. And this time, I'm not leaving without youuuuuuuu." 

God, Gaga would kill it. Rihanna and P!nk would be great candidates, though. They all have a ton of memorable hits. Ariana tho... No shade, I just don't think she'd be great for it- at least not yet. She doesn't have the impact with her hits that the other three have.
