Economy 49,848 Posted August 14, 2016 Share Posted August 14, 2016 Ok so we do not know if the single will have an August release and performed at VMAs or if it will be a September release But I wanted to highlight advantages of a September release if we get it Lots of new music is released before big award shows including VMAs. Its a lot of competition. You have to give a performance that stands out. If not your performance wont be thought about much and youll simultaneously have to deal with all the releases around same time At the same time, only a relatively small portion of the population actually whatches VMAs. Is the competition worth the promo of a performance only a few million people will see? Only if your performance stands out well September on the otherhand should die down on releases and she can always perform on smaller tv shows. In fact, it's likely LG5s lead single would be the only song performed that was released in August. Unless everyone surprise releases for the VMAs.
