Adele will join Gaga to sing You & Me and Peachless in the next SuperBowl.

Gaga is kinda confirmed, she just need to give the final yes to the plan because they want to make some changes to her creative plan.. but hopefully she will accept and scrap the idea, which is kinda risky to her and to her dancers..

I guess there are different types of entertainment for different kinds of audiences, so your personal tastes are your own issue - it seems pretty aberrant for me to state she isn't entertaining in any way. But she sure is not the right act for this type of event given the target audience.

You guys Gaga's last solid hit was 5 years ago and she hasn't released new pop music in almost 3 years. It'll likely be someone like Rihanna or Sia unless Gaga smashes asap.

I think Justin gets too much universal criticism and hate to be asked for an event like this. The SB committee has to be smart about who they ask because they don't want anyone's bad reputation to rub off on them. Adele would've been perfect in that regard, were it not that her music is too intimate for such a massive venue/audience.

Adele is one of the few artists that actually stays true to not caring about their sales. She's also signed to an indie label if I remember correctly so there is less pressure on her to do commercial things that she doesn't want to do.

that's a pretty ballsy decision, but I can see why she did that. 

Adele could work as a guest-star on Super Bowl for a more dance-oriented singer, closing the show with a medley of power-ballads. that would be pretty cool. 

I think next year's SB should go to either Rihanna or Justin Bieber.

Maybe so, but I also think he'd bring in a number of ppl who don't usually care for the event (I mean his beliebers are not exactly the target audience of the SB)...and ppl who watch the SB won't simply change the channel bc JB is performing...he is controversial, but he's also successful enough to justify his invitation for the event, I think.

But ofc I'd prefer if Rihanna or Sia did it..
