We've seen Britney and Katy struggle to get into the Top 50 on Spotify. (Make Me and Rise have not). Will Gaga share the same fate? Background: Lady Gaga gets 5.2M monthly listeners on Spotify. Let's compare to some of her contemporaries: Katy Perry gets 11M monthly listeners. Britney Spears gets 11M monthly listeners. Rihanna gets 31.4M monthly listeners. Ariana Grande gets 22.7M monthly listeners. Beyonce gets 14M monthly listeners. For context, Drake is the #1 artist getting 38.4M monthly listeners. I just think if people like the music, they will listen to it on the platform they listen to other music, which for most people is Apple Music and Spotify. I'm sure she'll do fine. I think Bobby will get her blanket coverage across Applemusic, Spotify and iTunes though...I'm hoping anyway considering he's made no effort to improve her streaming in the past 2 years.
